Overcoming Fear of Failure

“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.” — Marie Curie

Don’t allow your emotions to make your decision for you.

Have you ever physically or virtually allowed your surroundings to cause you to wonder: Am I good Enough? Are they Judging Me? What if I make a mistake? Without control, fear can literally paralyze our confidence, our ideas and even our dreams intended to be shared with the world. At times, the pressure to perform can be so strong, that the anxiety and stress of a matter can lead to sheer abandonment. To imagine that creative innovation, unique talents, or natural gifts are regularly suppressed due of Fear, is quite a shame.

But, there is always another way.

Why not shift the narrative in our heads, by excitedly saying, “I can’t wait until the world sees what I have to offer.” ? When we are eager about the gifts within us, we shift the energy surrounding the fear altogether. We gain trust from our audience and we increase our momentum needed for doing it, again and again.

In order for others to believe in us, we must first believe in ourselves.

A few tips for Overcoming your Fears, begins here. Ask Yourself:

  1. Where is it that I feel stuck?

  2. If I weren’t afraid, how would I move forward?

  3. What is the “What If” question that creates the most fear for me?

Be Honest. Have Courage. Be You.
